From our very first email with Annie, we were in love with this girl, and we were determined to make her love us, as well! She used words like romantic, playful, and natural to describe the feel that she and fiancé, Hunter, wanted for their wedding day. When they said they were envisioning an "enchanted garden" reception at her landlord's home, we were all in! From the beginning, we were obsessed with this wedding day and could not wait for it to finally arrive!
When we met Annie in person for coffee, she shared with us her engagement photos that she and Hunter had taken in Hunter's hometown of Washington, NC. We never knew that two people could be so adorable together. (You have to check those photos out here!) We were already excited about their wedding, but now knowing how precious they were in front of the camera, we could hardly wait for April 16th! And when the day arrived, they were even more adorable than we ever expected. No direction was needed as Hunter twirled, dipped, and led Annie around like they were two perfect tiny dancers in a jewelry box. It was UNREAL.
Annie chose to get ready at her landlord's home where the reception was going to be held that evening. We had already done a walk-thru a few months prior to the day and knew that the owner was such an amazing guy. It really is no surprise that Annie became so close to this family! The property is gorgeous on its own, but they had done some beautiful landscaping just for her big day! The property along with Laurel Greene Studio's unbelievable blooms everywhere made this day a complete DREAM. We really feel that Annie's original vision was brought to life with the help of her friends, family, and vendors. We are so thankful that these two somehow found Sweet Julep and we were able to be part of their beautiful day!
