We have loved Kara and Josh for some time now, so when he proposed and they started inquiring about us shooting their wedding, let's just say we were a little excited... We never stop having fun with these two. They never stop making each other laugh, and in turn, WE never stop laughing at them being so hilarious. One of our most memorable moments about their wedding has to be Kara picking up her dress and literally start FULL ON running to chase the geese that frequent Aldridge. Keep in mind that this was during her portraits with Josh so her hair and makeup and everything is done. She does all this while leaving Josh behind, just shaking his head and smiling. 

Knowing that Kara wanted a very romantic, chic feel to her wedding, Aldridge Gardens was the perfect spot. And this was also our first time getting to work with the wonderful Becky Baker and her assistant, Brittany. They made the day seem so easy and effortless. (Amazing team - we highly recommend Becky's Brides!) The entire day was filled with soft pink pastels and TRUE laughter. We love this couple and their son, Sawyer - who you will see in some photos! It's so exciting to us when we meet with a bride and groom and they laugh with each other basically the entire time. You meet Josh and you think he's the goofball out of the two, but then you hang around Kara and she starts chasing geese... They are a freaking amazing, fun couple that we now miss terribly. Kara and Josh moved to Arizona earlier in the year when she was accepted into a doctoral program at Arizona State University. So we know Kara is pursuing awesome dreams, but we certainly do miss their little family back here in Alabama. :)
