Bradford Wedding // Oak Island // Shelby, AL

This wedding is being posted SO late because we had the absolute hardest time narrowing down the selection! Jenny and Jordan were the most ideal couple - genuine, loving, and photogenic... Their wedding took place on a Sunday afternoon on Lay Lake at Oak Island. We had a perfectly overcast day with a few sporadic sun rays thrown in there! I really think that Jenny and Jordan's ceremony will always be one of our favorites. The moment was shared under a beautiful arbor overlooking the lake, and they also chose to step away for a minute to share their vows in private (Ah, it was the sweetest!!)

Jenny is one of four girls... (We know! You automatically feel sympathy for her dad!) But when we let Jenny and her father have their first look, both of us had to hold back the waterworks! Through nothing but smiles and sincerity, he told Jenny how proud he was of her, and how ecstatic he was that she was marrying Jordan, a wonderful, wonderful man. Still getting a little choked up just thinking about it! There were so many wonderful details for this wedding. And if you can't tell, we were absolutely obsessed with Jenny's shoes! One of her sisters found them online and ordered them from Canada - how unique! Be prepared - there's several shots of those amazing heels! Another one of our favorite moments was Jordan's grandmother cutting into the mother/son dance. She was just fantastic and fabulous! We all need a grandparent like her. Her love for Jordan was so apparent, and she was nothing but smiles! This whole wedding was such a JOYFUL day, and we are SO thankful we were allowed apart of it!
