The first time we ever saw Jessica and Sam was in September of 2014. No one could miss them at a wedding reception because they completely own the dance floor every. single. time. And then we saw them again when we shot one of Jessica's best friends weddings in 2015. We were actually informed at that wedding by one of our former grooms that Jessica and Sam would be engaged soon. So we kept our fingers crossed that Jessica would contact us, and she did! It was really cool for us that we had seen the two of them interact with one another on multiple occasions, without having ever met them formally. They didn't really know who we were, but we had taken pictures of them in their favorite element so many times.

At our consultation, Jessica tried to explain to us her vision of the gown that Heidi Elnora was creating, but we didn't know how much we'd be in love with it until we pulled it out of the bag on the wedding day. None of her bridesmaids had a clue what her dress was going to look like either, so it was a super cute reveal to see all of their reactions. Jessica never stopped playing with her tulle skirt the entire day. Also, apparently these two are both incredibly thoughtful gift givers. The first wedding that they ever attended together, Jessica lost her David Yurman ring, so when she opened her gift from Sam and he had replaced it with one more beautiful, it was an exciting surprise. And then her thoughtfulness brought Sam to tears when he opened his second gift from her, which was his wedding band that she had engraved on the inside with a sweet message, written in Hebrew.

We were so excited to start our 2016 wedding season off that we really wanted to hurry and get some images up to preview on a blog! Jessica and Sam's reception at Region's Field was such a blast, and The Main Attraction band made it more fun with their crowd interaction - they were even on the dance floor several times. And Jessica and Sam made it up on stage for a while to close out the reception. If you didn't know, these two met on the dance floor at Innisfree several years ago, so it was no surprise to us that they had such an amazing wedding and reception.
