If you're looking for THE most joyful couple ever, you have found them... When we met with these two for the first time, we immediately fell in love with both of them. Matt is more stylish that all three of us girls put together. No joke. (He's basically a walking J. Crew model.) And Sallie's infectious personality makes her loved by everyone she comes in contact with, we're sure of it! Sallie and Matt were hands down the happiest people we've ever seen on their wedding day. Every time Sallie looked at her groom, her smile would just get bigger and bigger. Sallie chose all the colors of the rainbow for her wedding day it seemed, which just goes perfectly with her personality! A wedding overflowing with color for an extremely colorful couple.

We fell in love with Sallie's family's home when we did her bridal portraits there a few weeks before the wedding day, and we were super excited to go back. Getting ready in the house you've called home for your entire life is something really special to us. Not to mention, we loved browsing and incorporating many of her mom's antiques and knick knacks into photos! Sallie's mom, Beverly, hung out with us for awhile and told us all about some of the things she had in the living and dining room. We loved hearing the stories and explanations behind some of these generational pieces. It was basically the equivalent of a five-year-old at Disney World for us.

This was our second time shooting at Rucker Place, but our first time taking all of the day's photos on the property. We loved how much the white backdrop of the house made all of Sallie's bright colors pop even more. From the moment these two saw each other, we spent the day with two people who were crazy in love with one another. It's the best thing when we can see a couple truly LOVE their day and take in every moment. It's too easy to get stressed out or overwhelmed with everything going on, but Sallie and Matt were completely focused and wrapped up in the realization that this was the first day of the rest of their lives. Their happiness clearly filtered through to all their friends and family, and we were able to watch it throughout the entire ceremony and reception. Sallie and Matt, we are so thrilled that we were chosen to be part of your day! We wish you two all the best in this new chapter together in Nashville!
