Why Film?
Film has always been the medium that has completely captivated me. While we live in a fast-paced age where instant gratification is demanded and digital photography is, without a doubt, more economical and affordable, it simply does not possess the magic that film photography creatives so effortlessly. Many have tried and tried to emulate the same likeness of film, but the raw quality and artistry is unmatched. While it does seem against the grain that I choose to shoot with an outdated technique, it is what has led you here. It’s what you saw in my photos that caught your attention. Film is timeless. It looks the exact same as it did twenty years ago, and it will look the exact same in twenty years to come. Is that important to you? Because it is to me.
