Reeves Wedding // Jennifer and Kris // Mathews Manor // Springville, AL

Some of our most favorite weddings have been small ceremonies with few or even no bridal party, and Kris and Jennifer's day was no exception. They opted out of having bridesmaids or groomsmen and instead had Kris' three children stand by them as they exchanged vows. It was truly beautiful. :) First down the aisle was Kris' two oldest, his two daughters. His eyes welled up immediately with tears and a huge smile! What really got us was watching Jennifer being escorted by her father AND Kris' youngest, his son. You can see Kris is just beaming with pride for his son and pure joy for his new bride.

The entire day had a gentle sweetness to it. Jennifer said they let the girls pick our their own dresses, and the soft pink color they chose was perfect! We absolutely loved the florals that Mathews Manor did for Kris and Jennifer's big day also. The design over the fireplace was so gorgeous and elegant. And Jennifer's bouquet had the perfect romantic shades of pink and cream with roses, dahlias, and dusty miller. Immediately after family photos, we loaded up in the car and drove across the street to Micah's Meadow. The light, y'all... We were obsessed and Kris and Jennifer were being the perfect models. We soaked up those last few minutes of sunlight and watched as Kris and Jennifer were just being themselves, except on this day, they were husband and wife. We are so thankful that on a gorgeous, sunny, hot day in August, this beautiful family got just a little bit bigger. :)
