We are so excited to share our first wedding of 2015 with you! We have known Caitlin and her family for some time now. It started with her senior portraits a few years back - she was headed to Samford to play softball. Now she's almost done with school, and we've had the privilege of shooting one of the biggest days of her life! Caitlin and Sean got married in January at American Village, and it was everything we hoped it to be! We had never had a wedding there before, so there were some high hopes. :) We're sure that the property is amazing during the spring and summer, but we thought it was absolutely LOVELY for a winter venue. The colors of the venue were the perfect muted shades for this winter wedding!
Y'all, this is not the first time we've had a couple like Caitlin and Sean, and we're starting to believe there's something romantic about college sports (check out our other baseball-loving duo here)... Caitlin plays softball for Samford, aaaand Sean played baseball for Samford (he had graduated when we met him!) And they are in the running for the sweetest, most perfect couple award in history. We're not sure that we've met a cuter, more naturally photogenic couple than Caitlin and Sean! Not only are they precious, but their families make these two people even more special, if that's even possible. As Caitlin shared stories about Sean and his family, we were reminded that real gentlemen do still exist. Sometimes, it's the men like Sean that can make us a little teary-eyed on wedding days!
It's always an amazing thing to see two families honestly coming together through marriage, and that's exactly what we experienced on this wedding day. From them all dancing together on the dance floor to laughing in the corner shooting streamers as their daughter and son took off for their honeymoon. We couldn't be more grateful for clients like the Bices and Handlans for letting us share such an amazing day with them. We know you'll fall in love with these two just like we did when looking through some of their images!
